Suspended Stick I

This pencil drawing combines two-dimensional and three-dimensional components to create the illusion of a stick suspended in space. Drawn in coloured pencil, the image of the stick is dissolved by a splash of water.

Twine is physically integrated into the paper to play with the flatness of the stick and make it appear as it is trapped in time and space.
